This is probably the 4th or 5th Airbnb I've stayed at in Big Bear and pretty safe to say that this is the best one. it's probably one of the best airbnbs I've stayed at period. the host for super attentive and there couldn't be anything you could ask for once you got to the rainbow retreat. next time I go to Big Bear I will definitely be staying here

Tout était parfait dans ce logement où nous avons passé 4 nuits. Le logement était très propre, spacieux et coloré. On se sentait comme chez nous. À 5 minutes à pied d’une belle plage. La résidence est très calme avec beaucoup de services. Notre hôte Kristin a été très réactive avec des attentions remarquables. Nous reviendrons ici sans hésiter

We stayed at Rainbow Retreat during our first visit to Big Bear. Our adult daughters, son-in-law, and little Boston were with us. Thanks to Kristin for an early check in which allowed us to get settle before heading to a Music In the Mountain concert. The 3 bedroom house was spacious for my family. We cooked and BBQ’d during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked, the bbq is great. We enjoyed the hot tub during our stay. I recommend watching the YouTube via the QR code provided in the house manual. It told us the proper setting to raise the water temperature. Kristin put together a very detailed manual which provided info on all aspects of the home. It’s very helpful. Kristin also left us a few treats which were a very nice surprise. Rainbow Retreat is a high class Airbnb!

Our family stayed at Rainbow Retreat. The property looked just like the photos, but even more charming!! The hosts were extremely accessible and very helpful. The home had everything you could need or want and everything was very well organized. Every inch of the property had thoughtful details and made our time in Big Bear super special!! I highly recommend this home and will be coming back!

We started our stay with misfortunate incident (broken couch sleeper, damaged by previous guest). Right away, the owner got in action and tried to make it right. To me, these are type of properties I would want to stay and also recommend to my friends: a place that is owned by a competent owner. In the end, she gave me multiple options (!!) which allowed me to make what’s best for our family. Besides that our 4 night stay at the property was wonderful. Walking distance to the beach and local stores/restaurants. Easy to go everywhere when needed via rental car. Beach items for us to use were so helpful too. The house was beautifully decorated and loved the split AC (a must for summer!). Thank you, Rainbow Retreat for being our home away from the home!

Our stay at the Rainbow Retreat in Maui as first-time visitors to the island and honeymooners was fantastic! This was the perfect spot to stay for our adventures exploring everything from the beautiful beaches along the west coast for snorkeling, a Road to Hana tour, and Haleakalā National Park for the sunset. The condo is well-appointed, and we made daily use of the must-have Tommy Bahama chairs for beach adventures and sunset gazing at an elevation of 10,000 feet on the volcano. Kristin had the unique opportunity to communicate with us on tsunami procedures, as we were there during the tsunami evacuation. Thankfully, nothing happened to the beautiful Hawaiian islands, and we continued our trip as planned. The condo is near the South Maui Gardens food trucks, which were a fun way to explore tasty local food options at the end of a long day.

Had a wonderful time. Arcade and pool table kept kids busy. Backyard was also great!

Great place to stay for family vacation

Everything is great about this place. The descriptions are accurate. The place has all the amenities you need to enjoy the local beaches. Great location with just a few mins walk down to Charley Young Beach and also restaurants. The pantry was well stocked. The hosts were proactive and helpful. Highly recommend !
