Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hi, we're Todd and Kristin, a husband-and-wife team with a passion for hospitality and travel. Since 2017, we've been managing vacation rentals across a variety of destinations, helping property owners create five-star guest experiences and maximize the value of their homes.

 

Todd is a Fire Captain, and Kristin works full time in the vacation rental space. Together, we bring both professional expertise and a personal touch to every property we manage.

 

As a family of four who loves to travel, we understand what makes a stay truly memorable—comfortable, clean spaces, thoughtful details, and reliable communication. Whether you're staying in the mountains, by the coast, or anywhere in between, we’re here to ensure your visit is seamless and enjoyable.

Our stay at Rainbow Retreat was more than wonderful. The house its self is cozy and comfortable. The hospitality that the host provides upon arrival is beyond 5 stars. Anything that we needed to communicate the host responded promptly and was attentive to make our stay a great one! The distance to activities around big bear were close enough. The pool table and the jacuzzi was the core of all our fun memories during our stay. The cabin is a great family choice and pet friendly. We are definitely going to return and recommend it to our friends and family.

This was the second time my daughter and I have stayed here and it’s become a favorite getaway for us. The cabin is pristine, cozy and has everything you could need. The back deck space with the hot tub and string lights is such a cozy and magical place to relax. The host is gracious and very responsive and we look forward to another stay at the Rainbow Retreat!

Such a lovely stay! This space is perfectly situated in the mix of all the best food and beaches in Kihei, but is tucked toward the back of the property so privacy and traffic noise aren’t a concern. Walking to dinner and sunset each night was such a treat.

This place was perfect, and the hosts were super helpful and accommodating. Everything had clear instructions, which took all the guesswork out of staying in another home. The beds were comfy, the amenities as advertised, the decor charming, and the location convenient. My friends and I felt perfectly at home, and we would absolutely stay there again the next time we go to Big Bear.

What a great surprise was Kristin's place! Everything was working properly, apartment was truly comfortable, kitchen supplies and dishes were spotless (we are really picky with kitchen cleanness) and the condo shared areas were clean, organized and the parking area was convenient with many spots available close to the unit. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!
