The location was absolutely great: incredibly walkable, close to the beach, and right near tons of great food spots. If you're here to surf, you couldn't ask for a better setup. Parking was a total breeze, and the host was even kind enough to allow us an early check-in. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The host provided everything we needed in the instructions before we even had to ask, along with some fantastic local recommendations. Highly recommend staying here!

This was our second visit to Big Bear, our first visit to Rainbow Retreat. Rainbow Retreat was on another level of vacation homes. I communicated with Kristin, she was so kind and attentive. The property was so well laid out for our family. Tons of entertainment from a pool table, axe throwing, dvds, board games, a huge spa and much more. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance, utensils, spices and complimentary snacks. The neighborhood felt safe, was quiet and within minutes of restaurants, grocery stores, the lake, movie theater and the bowling alley. We could've honestly just spent our vacation at the home. Checkout was easy, no unreasonable requests, just the basic " leave the home in a similar condition as you arrived" We will definitely be booking again for our next summer vacation!

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and so thoughtfully decorated. It felt warm, cozy, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. There were so many fun things to do, from the huge selection of board games to the arcade games, which kept everyone entertained. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing, and we loved spending our evenings around the fire pit. Every detail made this place feel special. The hosts were fantastic. They were incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and made the entire experience seamless from check in to check out. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and comfortable getaway. We’d love to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing family-friendly cabin! We booked it for Father's Day, and our four children absolutely loved it. There were so many activities and entertainment options to keep the kids busy, while the adults enjoyed the hot tub and the cigar room. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. We especially loved the thoughtful touch of the guest signing book,it made the experience feel even more special. This was the perfect getaway for our family, and we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend! 😊

This is a true gem. Incredibly well stocked, well maintained, perfectly responsive hosts. The place goes above and beyond with amenities and supplies, and instructions are clear and easy. Highly, highly recommend, and we'll certainly be back!

Very peaceful

Home was beautiful, clean, full of fun things to do, and went above and beyond with extras like fully stocked seasonings, coffee pods, tea, olive oil, toiletries, paper towels, a gum ball machine, cold waters in the fridge, plenty of linens and towels, playing cards, beach chairs, games and more! The kitchen was a chef's dream! The back yard a resort haven! Our family of 7 played pool 24/7. We all rode our e-bikes and e-scooters all over town. Great place, great fun, great home away from home!

Rainbow Retreat is a great place to stay. You can walk to the beach. There are many restaurants in walking distance. It was close to everything. Host was helpful and responsive. One king bed and pull out couch. We had three people and we were comfortable. There is a table and chairs outside that we used every day. The pool is very close and it was warm. Everything we needed was there: shampoo, conditioner, towels, beach chairs. Great find!

Fantastic location and family friendly! We were able to walk to the beach, breakfast, and coffee. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing excellent amenities for the beach (chairs, toys, towels, umbrella, cooler w/ ice blocks, and a wagon to haul it all). We would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend! Me and my wife had a great time and was close to everything! Very clean and had everything we needed close at hand. Will definitely be back! Thanks so much
